CSAE Ottawa-Gatineau Tête-à-Tête brings together many destinations for you to meet with on that one day. Invitations and appointments fill your schedule making it challenging to fit it all in and see everyone. Well, we have created an evening of socializing with some of the best destinations around and we want YOU to join us for an evening of music, fun, food and drinks.
Billed as “bringing together the meeting industry’s movers and shakers for a night of networking and entertainment,” REVEAL was hosted at the newly renovated Horticultural Building at Landsdowne Park.
The party was made possible with the collaboration of 27 Canadian destinations and our supporting partners which you will find below.
We were please to award prizes to our guests. Avaialble this year was a chance to win 2 airline tickets to any destination Porter Airlines flies or 2 x $500 VIA Rail Canada travel vouchers or a spa package from Nordik Spa-Nature (must have been present to win).
The evening was emceed by the comedic leadership of MC James Mullinger. A British Ex-pat who moved to Canada just last year, Mullinger has been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Live Solo Show and a Just For Laughs Award for Best Comedy Show.
He also has his own television series which follows him traveling around Canada performing comedy shows to packed houses, a big budget movie is being made about his life right now (starring Jimmy Carr, Gilbert Gottfried and Pete Zedlacher) and he is the author of a bestselling book.
This hilarious British funnyman will entertain us all night long and tell tales of why he left England, how he is adapting to life in Canada, what happened when he met the Queen and why we should all be living the dream right now.
The audience was also serenaded by Canada’s hottest new musical talent, Jason McNally, a bilingual Québécois with numerous appearances on popular French-language television, including shows such as Star Académie and En Direct de l’Univers.
Jason McNally has built a solid musical experience over several years. Alternating from pop to choir, blues to jazz and passing through gospel, he performed on national and international stages offering the best of his art.
A graduate in professional music and song at Collège Lionel-Groulx in 2008, for more than 3 years Jason McNally has been head chorister for several television shows and galas, including En Direct de l’Univers, broadcast throughout Canada and seen by thousands of viewers each week.
In 2012, he was a semi-finalist at the prestigious Festival International de la Chanson de Granby in the interpreter category. For more than 4 years, he has co-produced the KÄNAM group, the musical experience, critically acclaimed by many Québec corporate shows and festivals.
REVEAL 2016 Social was a rousing success, check out the highlights from the event.
2016 saw over 350 colleagues in attendance. With 27 destination partners and 8 supporting partners, this event was a great kick-off to a week of networking. Included in the evening we had live music, food and beverage and great prizes!

Q1. I’d like to attend, how do I get invited?
A1. REVEAL Social is complementary to all Association and Not-For-Profit Executive Directors and Employees, Professional Meeting Planners, Site Selection Specialists and Government Procurers.
Q2. I am a destination partner (hotelier, transportation, convention centre, etc.), how can I attend?
A2. If your Destination is a Partner, you may be able to attend, depending up on the level your Destination bought into. Please see the list of Destination Partners below to find out . You must reach out to your destination marketing organization to ensure that they have secured a partnership. In order to attend, your DMO must be a partner.
Q3. How do we become a partner/sponsor?

Q4. Is transportation or shuttle service available?
A4. UPDATE! Shuttle service from downtown Ottawa to the horticulture building is now available. Pick-up and drop-off location downtown is at Les Suites Hotel, 130 Besserer St. (continuous loop throught the evening until 11PM). Shuttle will begin first pick-up at Les Suites at 6PM and will return again every 45 minutes. Please note first-arrived will be first seated.
Bus: OC Transpo provides regular service to Lansdowne on routes 1 and 7.
